Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Inkpost browser extension (“the extension”), developed by an independent developer (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the extension, you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, don’t use the extension.
1. What the extension does
The extension turns web pages you choose into EPUB books and sends them by email from your Gmail account to your Send‑to‑PocketBook address, or lets you download the file. It is provided free of charge.
2. Your responsibilities
- Convert only content you have the right to copy for personal reading, and respect copyright and the terms of the websites you convert. The books you create are for your personal use.
- Send books to your own Send‑to‑PocketBook address. Don’t use the extension to send unsolicited or bulk email.
- Follow the terms of the services the extension relies on, including the Google Terms of Service and PocketBook’s terms of use.
- You are responsible for your Google account and for the addresses you enter.
3. Third‑party services
The extension relies on Gmail (Google) to send email and on Send‑to‑PocketBook (PocketBook) to deliver books. We don’t control these services. Their availability, limits (for example, attachment size or daily sending limits) and terms may change, and this can affect how the extension works.
4. No warranty
The extension is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement. Websites are built in very different ways, so a conversion may be incomplete: parts of an article, images or formatting may be lost. We don’t guarantee that every email will be delivered or that every book will open on every device.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, content or profits, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the extension. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
6. Changes and termination
We may change the extension or these terms, or stop developing the extension, at any time. When the terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top; if you keep using the extension after that, you accept the new terms. You can stop using the extension at any time by removing it from your browser.
7. Trademarks
Inkpost is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by PocketBook or Google. PocketBook, Gmail and Google are trademarks of their respective owners.
8. Privacy
How the extension handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
