Inkpost

A browser extension that turns the article you’re reading into a clean EPUB book, with images prepared for e‑ink, and sends it to your PocketBook e‑reader in one click.

Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store

How it works

  1. Open an article and click the extension icon or press Alt+Shift+P.
  2. Send it. Click the send button in the menu that opens. The book is built right in your browser and emailed from your Gmail to your Send‑to‑PocketBook address. It shows up on the reader after the next sync.

From the same menu you can just download the EPUB, or open the preview to remove the blocks you don’t need and fix the title or author.

What ends up in the book

What you need

Setup takes a minute

  1. Open the extension’s settings and enter your Send‑to‑PocketBook address.
  2. Click Sign in with Google and allow the extension to send email.
  3. Click Test send. PocketBook will send you a message about an unknown sender: click add to whitelist in it, otherwise PocketBook silently drops emails from your Gmail address.

Why the extension asks for access to your Google account

Books are sent from your own Gmail, so the extension asks Google for two permissions:

Send email on your behalf gmail.send
Used only to send the book you chose to the Send‑to‑PocketBook address you entered. The extension cannot read, search, change or delete your email.
See your email address userinfo.email
Used to show which account is connected and to renew access without asking you again.

You can sign out in the extension’s settings at any time or revoke access in your Google Account.

Inkpost’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
